Summary

Description
English: Preserved London Transport bus LT165 (reg. GK 5323), a 1930 LT class tri-axle double-decker with Park Royal assembled bodywork, pictured at the London Transport Museum's Acton depot. The LT class was a standardised 27 foot long tri-axle double-decker bus design built by LT's predecessor the London General Omnibus Company from 1929. It was based on the AEC Renown chassis, with bodywork assembled both in-house at LT's Chiswick Works, as well as being farmed out to various other builders. Beginning with LT151, the LT3 sub-type was the first of the class to have its rear staircase fully enclosed by the bodywork. LT165 entered service in Jan 1931 and was finally withdrawn in Aug 1949, whereupon it became part of the London Transport Museum collection.
