Summary

Description
English: The Preliminary Research Aerodynamic Design to Lower Drag, or Prandtl-D, is an experimental aircraft designed by a team of student interns lead by chief scientist Albion Bowers at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. The aircraft aims to reduce drag by utilizing a bell shape lift distribution first discussed by Ludwig Prandtl in 1933. This is a logo representing the project, depicting a silhouette of Prandlt wing design on a background of the Mojave Desert.
