Summary

Description	English: Widespread drought in Portugal has been the main culprit in the spate of dangerous wildfires that have plagued the country this past summer. On Sunday, October 8, over 1,000 firefighters were battling five wildfires across the country with many, many more smaller fires also burning but not enough manpower to fight them all. Português: A seca generalizada em Portugal tem sido a principal culpada pela onda de incêndios perigosos que tem assolado o país no último Verão. No domingo, 8 de Outubro de mais de 1 000 bombeiros combatiam cinco incêndios em todo o país com muitos, muitos mais incêndios de menores dimensões a lavrar, mas em que não existe pessoal suficiente para o combate às chamas.
