English: A photograph of the artist, jewellery and metalwork designer Georgie Gaskin ((1866-1934). Georgie and husband Arthur Gaskin were leading jewellers of the Arts and Crafts movement. The portrait is by William Smedley Aston (1868-1941) who was a photographer of the Arts and Crafts movement. They were all members of the Birmingham Group, sometimes called the Birmingham School, an informal collective of painters and craftsmen associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement, that worked in Birmingham, England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
