English: The Point Elizabeth Walkway, about 11 km north of Greymouth, New Zealand, is 3h30 return starting at the beach and passing through mixed coastal forest to a viewing platform at Point Elizabeth. The forest is dominated by miro, kahikatea, rimu, and nīkau palms (near their southern limit). The trail was created in the 19th century and follows an old water race used for gold sluicing.
