Original file(1,761 × 2,553 pixels, file size: 998 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description
English: Plaque based on the Newhaven Stone, presented by Henry Robb J.P. to the Victoria Primary School on its centenary in 1944. Although 1588 happens to be the year of the Spanish Armada, it is more likely to be the date of the building into which the stone tablet copied here was originally incorporated.
