Français : Plan d'une partie du château de Tours, tel que révélé par les fouilles des années 1970, laissant apparaître à l'ouest la partie reprise de l'enceinte du bas-empire (époque Gallo-Romaine) pour l'édification du château en 1160 par Henri II Plantagenet. La partie blanche bordée de rouge indique la zone des fouilles délimitée par cette enceinte où seront découverts des thermes Gallo-Romains. La partie plus sombre (ocre foncé) figure ce qu'il reste du château actuellement, après sa destruction à la période révolutionnaire et le remodelage de ce qu'il en restait par l'armée, qui occupera les lieux jusqu'a la fin du XX° siècle, profitant de la totale destruction de la partie Est de l'édifice du XIII° siècle, pour construire de nouveaux bâtiments. En évidence, les limites du château du XIII° siècle bordé de ses quatre tours.
