Description
English: Convoy of rafts (Keleks) making on its way down the Tigris river loaded with antiquities in 1855. The rafts and accompanying ship were attacked by local tribes and then sunk near Al Qurnah (near Basra). Much of the treasures were lost to the river.
العربية: قافلة من الأطواف الفرنسية التي كانت في طريقها إلى نهر دجلة محملة بالآثار عام 1855، عِندما تعرضت لهجوم من قبل القبائل المحلية ثم غرقت بالقرب من القرنة (بالقرب من البصرة). فُقدت الكثير من الكنوز في النهر.
