Summary

Description
English: Illustration from the 1881 première of Jacques Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann, showing the Giulietta act. I'm not sure exactly when the Giulietta act premièred; it wasn't ready for the first production, but it was being performed by the end of 1881, apparently.

As Adam lives in Britain, which makes it incredibly easy to acquire copyright in his works, he grants, if needed, an irrevokable license to use this work however you see fit. He requests attribution where possible, and realises that "where possible" means that that request is not legally enforcable. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:44, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

Restoration included removing scratches, rotating to make the verticals and most of the horizontals straight, and adding in some paper to avoid excessive cropping because of the rotation, levels adjustments, and so on.
