Both are "broadband" images with relatively long exposures, such that the area shown which is in shadow is illuminated by reflected light from other parts of the crater. In both views a star-shaped central peak is shown, with the summit illuminated in sunlight. Part of EW1017613911B, at left, was acquired on 2013-07-31. Part of EW1048248000B, at right, was acquired on 2014-07-21. |
