English: Peach and Horne Monument Ben Peach and John Horne were the geologists who mapped Assynt and made a major contribution to understanding the complicated geology of the Moine Thrust Zone. In the background is Cuinneag (Quinag) above Loch Assynt.
The inscription reads "To Ben N Peach and John Horne who played the foremost part in unravelling the geological structures of the north west Highlands 1883-1897. An International tribute erected 1930".[1]
