Description
English: View of rural Woolwich from the west. The road depicted is now Powis Street. To the left: the Rope Yard. At the end of the road is a cluster of cottages around Green's End. The octagonal brick building was demolished in 1853. Watercolour by local artist Paul Sandby, c. 1783.
