Description
On the left, is the 'Soleil Royal', in starboard-quarter view, the chief focal point. She's engaged on her right with 'Britannia', 100 guns, port-quarter view, preceded by 'London', 96 guns, followed by 'St Andrew', 96 guns. In the left in the background, the 'Royal William', 100 guns, is in close action with a French flagship. In left foreground, a French two-decker is sinking, stern on, with her crew transferring to a small boat under her stern. In right foreground a small dismasted English ketchd and the wreck of another ship is on the right in the foreground.
