English: The "crest" of the original (1875-1906) Palace Hotel in San Francisco, an example of its logotype, and a rare surviving individual service crested silver teapot from the original Hotel. The 1875 Palace was destroyed by fire on April 18, 1906, after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. The teapot was used in the Palace's dining room and was manufactured by the E.H.H.
