Summary

w:One Love Peace Concert featuring a Mr. Michael Mannley, Bob Marley, and Mr. Edward Seaga joined in a symbolic and ultimately a very real unity. These two political leaders had divided Jamaica into such a violent rift that the very idea of doing this concert resulted in an attempted assassination on Bob Marley's life. Surviving two gun shot wounds, Bob Marley took the stage April 22, 1978 and, during "Jammin'" he called for national peace between his Rastafarian brothers.
