English: Here is the structure that is commonly called the Old Stone Fort. It is presumed to be the oldest structure in the state of Ohio. It was built somewhere between 1679 and 1689, in the Tuscarawas River valley, a tributary of the Muskingum River. it is thought to have been built by the French who were exploring the Ohio River Valley during this time.
