DescriptionOld Pinellas Bayway Drawbridge on SR 682 open for sailboat in 2011.jpg
The Pinellas Bayway Drawbridge, or "Structure C" bridge, in St. Petersburg, Florida, with its double-leaf bascule draw span opened to allow a sailboat to pass. Built in 1961, this drawbridge, and the longer viaduct of which it was part, were closed in 2013 and replaced by a new, high-level bridge that was constructed adjacent. The old and new bridges carried/carry Florida state highway SR 682 (and 35th Avenue) over Boca Ciega Bay.
