Summary
| Description |
English: Constructed in 1921, this large Classical Revival-style edifice was the last home of the High School of Charleston, which closed in the 1980s. Following its closure, the building was bought by the adjacent Medical University of South Carolina, whom proceeded to gut the building and tear down the rear wings to construct a new, modern medical facility on the site. Today, the facade of the building remains, and the structure is home to the College of Health Professions. |
