Odostomia scalaris MacGillivray, 1843


English: Small ectoparastic gastropod, taken with a Leica DFC 490 camera mounted on a Leica M205C binocular microscope. This is an intertidal ectoparasite, mainly on Mytilus edulis but not strictly host-specific. Collected in 2011 at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium. Geo-location not applicable as the picture was taken in the lab.
Height = ~5 mm
Focus stacking of 30 pictures.
