Description
English: The Integrated Fire Control area of the Nike Hercules system contained the radars and computers driving the missile site. The large white dome top center houses the HIPAR early warning radar. The hexagonal towers along the lower edge hold the shorter-range tracking radars. On the left are the target tracking and discrimination systems, the right is the missile tracking radar, and in the center, dark green, is the LOPAR search radar. LOPAR was originally the early warning radar for the Nike Ajax system, and was retained in Hercules to simplify changes to the fire control systems.
