English: New ice cracking on a stone covered with algae as the tide goes out, Brofjorden at Govik, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. Due to the calm weather, the ice is so clear you can see through it into the dark sea bottom (black ice). Most of the algae this close to the shore are dead and black.
