DescriptionNeuchatel 1902 trams 42+44 departing Place Pury loop in 1979.jpg
English: A Neuchâtel tram set composed of 1902-built cars 42 and 44 departs Place Pury in Neuchâtel for Boudry, on line 5, in 1979. These tramcars were among seven double-ended (bi-directional), double-truck trams built for the Neuchâtel tram system in 1902 by SWS, numbered 41–47. Most of them remained in service for almost 80 years, the last active units being retired in 1981. The Place Pury loop shown here was closed in 1988 and replaced by a stub-end terminus located nearby, to the southwest.
