English: Thousands of refugees from Kokang, Special District No. 1 of North Shan State, Myanmar waited just across the border for several days in Nansan, Yunnan while Myanmar forces and the Kokang local forces fought. They went home after the Kokang forces took refuge in China and surrendered their weapons.
