Description
English: The Mount Lyell massif, including subpeaks L5 (Christian), L4 (Walter), L3 (Ernest), L2 (Edward) and L1 (Rudolf) – l-r – plus the Lyell Icefield, as taken from the summit of parent Mt. Forbes, 10 miles to the SE (132⁰). Of note, five peaks of the Columbia Icefield area are on the horizon: Mounts Bryce, King Edward, Columbia (looking like a part of L3), South Twin and North Twin – l-r. Mt. Bryce is some 21 miles away at 306⁰ while North Twin is 33 miles away at 320⁰, both from the camera position.
