DescriptionMoving People bus (VIL 3382 ex-F382 GVO), 2012 Fleetwood Festival of Transport.jpg
Moving People (Accrington) bus "Stan" (reg. VIL 3382), seen here at the 2012 Fleetwood Festival of Transport. It's a 1989 built Leyland-DAB Lion double decker with East Lancs bodywork, new to Nottingham City Transport as their No. 382, registered F382 GVO. Only 32 Lions were ever built, with just ten receiving East Lancs bodies. Nottingham took 13 Lions in all - 381-6 were a batch of 5 with coach seating. While at Nottingham, all 5 were re-registered with cherished plates, VIL 3382/2983/4784/4685/4686. They were later sold as a batch to Andrews of Tideswell, receiving a cream livery, before being sold on again as a batch to Moving People, who have added the black roof, and given them all names ("Tom", "Dick", "Stan", "Harry" and "Ollie").
