English: Monument to Robert Boyd at the English Cemetery in Málaga. Robert Boyd (1805-1831) was a romantic hero who was executed by firing squad on the San Andrés beach. He assisted in the military uprising led by General Torrijos by funding a ship to bring the rebels from London to Spain. Boyd was separated in death from his companions, whose bodies were taken to the San Miguel cemetery in Málaga, while Boyd became the first person to be interred in the original walled precinct of the English cemetery. The inscription reads: "To the memory of / Robert Boyd Esqr. / of / Londonderry Ireland. // The Friend and fellow-martyr / ot Torrijos, Celderón & ca. / who fell at Málaga in the / sacred caust of liberty. / On the 11 Decr. 1891. / Aged 26 years."

Colaboró en la sublevación militar dirigida por el general Torrijos financiando un barco para traer a los rebeldes desde Londres a España. Al morir, Boyd fue separado de sus compañeros, cuyos cuerpos fueron trasladados al cementerio de San Miguel de Málaga, mientras que Boyd se convirtió en la primera persona en ser enterrada en el recinto amurallado original del Cementerio Inglés.
