Summary

Description
English: Monument of the Fish Gambusia afinis - small North American fish. In 1925 the fish was introduced to Kaukaz Black Sea coast. Before, Adler (Soči) was swampy place with anopheles mosquitos in it. Fish feeded mosquitos larvas. As a result, malaria was not registred in Adler since 1956.
