| Description |
English: See the Wikimedia article for an explanation. During several visits in the 2010's the neighbourhood surrounding is was being torn down, after which "new old houses" would be built. I saw an example: the by now usual wooden building with possibly inside a concrete structure (the people told me here only wood would be used, I could not check). During my latest visit (December 2018) it seemed the mosque was being restored. It stood forlorn in a sea of torn down houses (some remained, to be restored, some were inhabited by the poorest of people). |
