Summary

Description
English: Methylmalonic acid metabolism with intermediates, cofactors, enzymes and the corresponding genes. The positions of the different methylmalonic acidemias in the metabolism are shown, with the isolated methylmalonic acidemias highlighted in black font. Additional addition of mitochondrial fatty acid synthesis (mtFASII) to the methylmalonic acid metabolism, as the enzyme ACSF3 also fulfills functions there.
