Summary

Description
English: The 35 MeV betatron was manufactured by Siemens and purchased by the University of Melbourne in 1962. It was used primarily for photonuclear research and ceased operation in 1986. It was then re-worked into an art exhibit (replacing the metal coils with wood) and is located on the Podium level of the David Caro Building.
