Un archer maure (représentant le sultan d'Alger), bande son arc et pointe sa flèche en direction du roi d'Espagne, Philippe IV qui regarde vers lui, tandis qu'en retrait le roi de France Louis XIII semble les surveiller du coin de l'œil.
