English: Historic Building Survey plaque: "64 Manila Cafe, 1930. Throughout its history, various restaurants have occupied this building. The local Filipino community, Navy and merchant marine personnel were frequent patrons of the Manila Cafe. The Cafe has served as a backdrop for scenes in the movies In God We Trust, with Marty Feldman, and Writer's Block, with Morgan Fairchild."
