English: Makarkinia irmae, extinct Neuroptera Kalligrammatidae from the Crato Formation of the Araripe Basin. It lived in the Cretaceous during the Aptian and had evolutionary convergence with butterflies and moths, both in eating habits and appearance.
Português: Makarkinia irmae, Neuroptera Kalligrammatidae extinto da Formmação Crato da Bacia do Araripe. Viveu no Cretáceo durante o Aptiano e possuía convergência evolutiva com borboletas e mariposas, tanto nos hábitos alimentares quanto na aparência.
