Description
English: Taken by various of satellites throughout 2017, these are the 19 tropical cyclones that reached at least Category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson scale during that year, from Enawo in March to Lan in October. The most intense tropical cyclone during 2017 was Maria which is the fourth image in the last row, Maria had a pressure of 908 hPa and 1-minute sustained winds of 175 mph, though Irma had 1-minute sustained winds of 180 mph.
