Summary

Description
English: Diagram showing the typical layout of a mahjong game after the tiles have been washed (shuffled) and stacked in four walls, with each wall containing 36 tiles (two ranks of 18 tiles each). After casting the dice, the dealer, marked as east (東) counts generally counterclockwise starting with the dealer's wall. Play generally proceeds from the dealer in a counterclockwise manner.
