Summary

Description
English: Mac Elrod listening to an African American professor, James Lawson, whom Mac's wife, Norma, knew in the Methodist youth movement. Lawson was expelled from Vanderbilt for this activism (their first Black student), but was readmitted and became a minister. Training for the Nashville sit-ins began before any other. This picture was in the movie "Many Rivers to Cross." The workshop was included in "The Butler", but with a tall red head playing Mac.
