The Cathedral of La Paz is the seat of the Diocese of La Paz. Located in the center of the city of La Paz, Baja California Sur. It is located in the place where stood the mission founded by the Jesuits in the eighteenth century.

The present church was lifted in the second half of the nineteenth century by order of Bishop Juan Francisco Escalante and Moreno.

Sober neoclassical style on the outside, has a simple facade and two towers, which are reminiscent of those of the American churches.

I placed inside the temple beautiful eighteenth-century baroque altarpieces, which come from other missions that ran the fate of being abandoned.
