Summary

Description
English: Luis Taruc, rebel leader of the Huks in the Philippines and founder of the communist struggle in the Philippines, shown in an undated and unlocated photo. Taruc surrendered to officials at Camp Murphy, Philppines' Army headquarters, in Pampanga 17 May 1954. Taruc revealed after that he and his partisans were thrown out of the Filipino communist party.
