This is the logo for Botkyrka Municipality. Further details: The logotype of the municipality of Botkyrka, located in Stockholm County, Sweden. It exists in a horizontal and a vertical variant, with the graphic charter (v. 2.1, 2015) prescribing that the vertical variant is to be used whenever possible. Both are available in color or black‐and‐white, with the latter only intended for when the red color is unprintable. All these permutations can in turn be used with either positive or negative text, making for eight variants in total.
The logotype features a heraldically incorrect version of the municipal arms. This is because the official blazon from 1954 specifies that only the axe and the fish are silvern, while Saint Botvid himself should be golden. While heraldry allows monochrome renditions of arms, such renditions should only be used in monochrome contexts—contrarily, this logotype uses a monochrome emblazonment despite not being monochrome as a whole. It is thus heraldically incorrect.
