Summary

Description
English: The logo of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur was unveiled by the municipal government on December 24, 2020. The logo is used in official government advisories, communications, and in other conspicuous fronts. Homegrown products and services use this as a seal to indicate things "Made in Tagudin."

The municipal seal remains a symbol to identify the LGU and to authenticate official documents when stamped onto them.

The logo's meaning:

The logo, named the "Tagudin Jewel", consists of ten letter T’s, an obvious nod to the town's initial. The letters also depict 10 Tagudinians in a full circle, which unravels certain items that are significant to the municipality.

The symbol resembles a radiant sun that greets the terrains and kisses the shores of Tagudin. The sun has been essential, not just to agriculture--the town's main livelihood, but to other industries as well.

The sun logo also pays homage to the historic Sundials which Tagudin is known for.

When viewed closer, a star can also be seen, which is formed by the slanted lines. The star has been a significant symbol in the transformation of Tagudin from a sleepy town to a vibrant community teeming with businesses and industries.

The rounded appearance also implies a shining gem to remind that Tagudin is also known as the Perlas ti Amburayan (Pearl of the Amburayan), as the town is cradled by the fabled Amburayan river.

The logo's purpose is to serve as a symbol of excellence and to portray the quality of leadership and government services as well as the products of Tagudin.

This logo image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Logo of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
