DescriptionLivingston House, Nunda, New York - 20200830.jpg
English: The Livingston House, 14 North State Street at East Street, Nunda, New York, August 2020. The tallest building in Livingston County at the time of its construction in 1873, the building sports a noticeable but not overbearing Romanesque Revival style that manifests itself in its fenestration scheme of round-arched windows, the brick dentil courses that run below the roofline, and the corbel table and projecting window heads on the rear annex (right). Then as now, the Livingston House's ground floor was divided up into commercial and retail space for a variety of businesses; the second and third floors were occupied by hotel rooms, and on the fourth floor was a grand ballroom and opera house that, though unused, remain in intact condition today.
