Summary

This straight line is probably composed of the w:diatom rhizosolenia, and shows a persistent front in the Pacific Ocean near Suloy. This is an example of the w:Pacific white line. It was photographed by an astronaut using a telephoto lens on the Space Shuttle Atlantis during w:STS-46. It is a U.S. Government work published by NASA and in the public domain.
