English: Lep Khrut (Thai script: เล็บครุฑ, lit. "claws of the Garuda"; "Polyscias fruticosa") served raw on a vegetable platter together with nam phrik kapi (chilli and shrimp paste dip) at a Southern Thai restaurant inside Chiang Mai's old city. The taste is slightly bitter and sour. It can also be used in certain Thai curries.
