Deutsch: Außenfassade der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche Am Tabor bzw. Auferstehung-Christi-Kirche im 2. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Leopoldstadt. Die Kirche, ein fensterloser Langbau mit zwei niedrigen Seitenschiffen zwischen zwei Wohnblöcken, wurde ab 1967 (Spatenstich am 21. Mai 1967) nach Plänen von Ladislaus Hruska errichtet und am 17. Jänner 1971 geweihtː [1]. Die Mosaikbilder an der Fassade wurden 1996 hinzugefügt und von Arik Brauer gestaltet. Im Mittelpunkt des Werkes steht die Darstellung „Das letzte Abendmahl“, flankiert mit den Mosaikbildern „Maria geht im Dornenhain“ (links) und „Josef träumt“ (rechts)ː [2]. Mit 1. April 2023 wurde die Pfarre Am Tabor mit dem Pfarrverband St. Leopold - St. Josef zum Pfarrverband An der Taborstraße vereinigtː [3]. |
