Description
English: TUDOR REVIVAL AND MISSION REVIVAL STYLE STRUCTURE WAS BUILT IN 1931. IT WAS DESIGNED BY DELAWARE LACKAWANNA AND WESTERN RAILROAD (DL&W) ARCHITECT D.T. MACK OR ONE OF HIS STAFF. IT WAS BUILT LARGELY TO ACCOMMODATE THE GROWING NUMBER OF VISITORS TO THE LYONS VETERANS HOSPITAL.

THERE IS A PICTURE IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER LISTING BUT AGAIN IT SHOWS ONLY TRACKS AND A PORTION OF THE PLATFORM AND NOT THE VERY ATTRACTIVE STATION BUILDING ITSELF WHICH IS WHY THE SITE IS ON THE REGISTRY
