English: Kwete is a traditional beverage brewed from sorghum, millet, maize and yeast. The production process involves mixing fermented sorghum, millet or maize, yeast and boiled water. It is a staple of social life in villages of Kaboong District. It is brewed for personal consumption or to share on festive occasions.
