Description

A foul day on the platforms of Wimbledon Station back in 1960 portrays the downside of engine watching during inclement weather. Deserted platforms leave only the dedicated to the task, but the rewards were worth the effort. Here we see N15 'King Arthur' class 4-6-0 No. 30791 "Sir Uwaine" a rare bird, passing through on a down Basingstoke semi-fast.
