Русский: По сведениям киевской исследовательницы В.В.Румянцевой "из рапорта Министерства юстиции от 9 февраля 1917 года видно, что герб Киева удостоен высочайшего утверждения в 3-й день февраля 1917 года. в Царском Селе". При этом в гербе была использована не Александровская, а Владимирская лента. Источник: Румянцева В.В. Эмблемы земель и гербы городов Левобережной Украины периода феодализма.
