This time, the immediate source was http://www.irishecho.com/newspaper/story.cfm?id=15828
I believe that they got it from a previous version of: http://www.thewildgeese.com/pages/kerlogue.html for which I asked Kenneth King to permit that site to use the picture.
On 4 September 09 I visited Kennneth in Glencolmcille [1] and he kindly agreed to release low-resolution copies of some of his paintings on a CC-by-SA basis. Others are on Irish_Mercantile_Marine_during_World_War_II.
I regret this image was cropped and I don't have, or I mislaid, a copy of the original
The artist, Kenneth King granted permission to reproduce a low-resolution image of the oil painting "Kerlogue passing through Dalkey sound" which he painted. If reproducing please make reference to http://www.king-studio.com ClemMcGann (talk) 20:53, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
