English: LAST WOODEN BRIDGE REMAINING ON THE ALASKAN HIGHWAY; WAS BYPASSED. THE BRIDGE WAS BUILT DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR, WHEN THE ALASKA HIGHWAY WAS STARTED. DUE TO A HAIRPIN CURVE, THE BRIDGE, WHICH TOOK NINE MONTHS TO BE COMPLETED, WAS CONSTRUCTED IN A CURVED SHAPE.
